Student & Family Mental Wellness Forum

Cabarrus County Schools will be hosting a Student & Family Mental Wellness Forum to kick off Mental Health Awareness Month! The event will open with a Keynote Speaker, Michele Gay. We will also have a provider fair including 20+ community mental health and wellness partners for students and their families to learn about resources that are available to them! There will also be food trucks and activities for school-aged children!

Mental Health Awareness Month

Mental Health Month raises awareness of trauma and the impact it can have on the physical, emotional, and mental well-being of children, families, and communities. The purpose of Mental Health Awareness Month is to eliminate the stigma associated with mental illness by increasing awareness of the importance of mental health and wellness and celebrating recovery from mental illness.
